Broken branches in your tree? Need a simple or hazard tree trimmed or removed? Maybe your commercial property is in need of professional maintenance. No matter the job King Tree Service will make sure the job is completed with care and efficiency.
Living in the Rocky Mountains can bring some unexpected storms that can cause major damage to trees. Worry a little less knowing we can tackle any hazard thrown our way.
Tree care is about more than trimming branches. It requires the expertise of certified arborists and trained technicians who understand how trees grow and how to recognize structural weaknesses, protect trees from damage, and care for them year-round.
No job is too large for us here at King Tree Colorado.
Specializing in large land clearing projects, to maintaining structural integrity. We are your first choice for any project large or small.
Over time, often as a result of storm damage or structural failure, the crown shape and branch structure of a mature tree can deteriorate. That’s when we advocate “restoration pruning” by a skilled arborist to bring the tree back to its characteristic form and stimulate new, healthy growth. To reap the rewards, restoration pruning requires advanced techniques applied over multiple pruning cycles. But the renewed splendor and vigor of a beloved landscape tree can be well worth the effort!
The careful pruning of structural defects in young trees, known as developmental tree pruning, helps young trees grow up with a strong, attractive, and healthy branch architecture. Thoughtful pruning of trees when they are young can reduce the chance of serious problems when they mature — and avoid the need for costly corrective measures like cabling and bracing.
Many tree diseases are promoted by excess moisture. So circumstances that can cause chronic dampness in the tree’s foliage, stems, or root system — including inadequate sunlight and air flow in the tree’s crown — can be major contributors to its diseased state.
For that reason, pruning the affected tree (and/or any nearby trees that may be crowding it) can open up its leaf canopy to improve sunlight penetration and air flow. Those improved conditions can help the tree avoid the occurrence of moisture-related pathogens
Yikes….it could be a thousand different things. But there are often clues. When we start looking more closely at the symptoms and the surroundings, we can often figure out what the likely culprits are. If you are willing to invest some time googling, you can often figure out the easy ones yourself. Lack of water is the single factor we see hurting trees the most throughout Colorado Springs. Our arborists can help get to the bottom of exactly what is going on and get your trees the care they need ASAP.
Most tree care companies will tell you that the general rule of thumb is 10 gallons for every inch of diameter every 5 – 7 days. Honestly, that response is an easy way for a tree company to satisfy the customers question without knowing what they are talking about, or they are not willing to take the time to explain in greater detail.
The correct answer is it differs depending on soil conditions. Clay soils that lack any king of microbiome will not allow water to drain vs. sandy soil that will not allow water to settle. It also depends on how much soil oxygen is available.
The only way to figure out how much water your trees need is to perform saturation tests. Testing can be tricky so it’s always better to consult with an arborist.
This is a very difficult question to answer without visiting the site and putting eyes on the tree. So many factors come into play when determining the cost of tree removal.
Factors to be considered:
With all these factors to be considered it is pretty much impossible to answer the question "how much does tree removal cost?" It's impossible to even put an average cost to tree removal. Give us a call today for a free estimate!
